WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Guy Reschenthaler (PA-14) recently uncovered $1.1 million in Obama-era taxpayer funding funneled to the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) through the EcoHealth Alliance. The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) awarded this funding. The WIV is a Chinese Communist Party lab with ties to Chinese military research and a suspected origin site of COVID-19 pandemic.

Additionally, if the Games are not moved, the legislation calls for the United States to lead an international boycott of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games.
