Guy Reschenthaler to Newsmax TV: Pelosi 'Wasting Money' With Oversight Committee
Rep. Guy Reschenthaler, R-Penn., told Newsmax TV on Tuesday that the bipartisan congressional commission on coronavirus oversight is an unnecessary waste of money.
Reschenthaler said on "National Report" that House Speaker "Nancy Pelosi [D-Calif.] set up a special committee, a select committee, on oversight on President [Donald] Trump. This is going to be impeachment 2.0 if we allow Pelosi to continue this. It was also absolutely useless because we already have an oversight committee, so she is wasting money."
He added later, "unfortunately, Nancy Pelosi and the far-left Democrats hate this president so much they would rather take the side of the Chinese Communist Party, the World Health Organization … they just want to do anything they can to stop this president."
