Reschenthaler Statement on U.S. Supreme Court Decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Representative Guy Reschenthaler (PA-14) released the following statement after the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization:

“I believe every life, born and unborn, is precious. The Supreme Court’s historic ruling today will once again allow the American people to protect the unborn through their elected representatives.

“In his opinion, Justice Samuel Alito said, ‘The Constitution does not confer a right to abortion; Roe and Casey are overruled; and the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives.’

“This decision is a tremendous victory for life that rightfully empowers the American people.”
