Reschenthaler Supports Resolution Standing with Israel

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Chief Deputy Whip Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA) issued the following statement regarding the passage of H. Res. 771, a resolution in support of Israel as it defends itself against the barbaric war launched by Hamas and other terrorists:

 

“Hamas’ brutal terrorist attack on the nation of Israel was humanity at its very worst — beheading babies, raping women, and gunning down families.

 

I am proud to stand with my House colleagues in support of our strongest ally in the Middle East, Israel, and against the pure evil displayed earlier this month. The United States must unequivocally condemn these atrocities, recognize Israel's right to defend itself, and provide all necessary support to defeat terrorism.

 

This war is an existential fight between good and evil. The world is watching, and our nation must rise to the occasion.”
