Congressman Reschenthaler Named to Judiciary Subcommittees
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today Congressman Guy Reschenthaler (PA-14) was officially selected to serve on the following subcommittees of the influential House Committee on the Judiciary:
• Courts, Intellectual Property & the Internet
• Crime, Terrorism, & Homeland Security
• Constitution, Civil Rights & Civil Liberties
Congressman Reschenthaler's experience serving in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General Corps, where he prosecuted terrorists in Iraq and helped defend and acquit three Navy SEALS who were wrongfully prosecuted, makes him an excellent fit for these subcommittees.
Additionally, as a former prosecutor, defense attorney, and district judge, Congressman Reschenthaler brings a well-rounded perspective of the courtroom.
"I look forward to applying my military and legal background to the issues before these subcommittees," Reschenthaler said. "We need to find solutions that protect our national security, free markets, and personal liberties."
