Reschenthaler Statement on Russia’s Attack on Ukraine
WASHINGTON, D.C. –?Today, Representative Guy Reschenthaler (PA-14) released the following statement on Russia’s attack on Ukraine:
“Russia’s attack on the freedom-loving people of Ukraine is unjustified, unprovoked, and a flagrant violation of international law. Overnight, Vladimir Putin unilaterally destabilized global peace and stability and threatened innocent lives. I condemn Russia’s attack on Ukraine in the strongest possible terms and wholeheartedly affirm my commitment to preserving the safety and security of the U.S. and our allies around the world.
“President Biden's failed foreign policy approach is directly responsible for emboldening Putin to strike. The U.S., in coordination with our allies, must immediately and decisively act to provide further support to Ukraine and enact crippling sanctions against Russia and any other countries that threaten peace and democracy.”
